A Talent Identification Day will be held Sunday 15 August at Wyong Practice Range and Wyong Golf Course. The day is for male and female junior golfers aged 13-18 years in 2010.
The maximum handicap for boys is 15 and 30 for the girls.

charity golf day to raise funds to help with research & awareness.

The Captain’s v President’s Gala Day was held at Shelly Beach Golf Club on Saturday 3rd July. 202 members and guests participated in the day
which was enjoyed by all. On a day when a cool breeze was blowing and the greens were firm and fast, scoring proved to be difficult for most
players. The Captain's team dealt with the conditions best, winning the day 27 matches to 21.
There were several excellent performances, with Steve Dowton shooting the best men’s score of the day and Mary McFadden shooting the best
score on the day for the ladies.
After recent poor form Steve called on the coaching skills of our Director of Golf Jason Hart on the
Friday before and preceded to score a massive 48 points to win both the C Grade men’s in the morning as well as the men’s 2BBB with
Jim Reed. Mary McFadden won the ladies comp with an impressive 39 points in the afternoon as well as winning the afternoon 2BBB
with husband and former President John McFadden by scoring 46 points.
The Captain’s v President’s event has been running for 14 year’s with the Captain’s team taking the honours on 10 occasions.
Although our President carefully selected his team and rallied his troops they proved to be no match for the Captain’s team
with our Captain Col Hines and Lady Captain Val Gibney setting the early example by defeating the President Ken Hey and
Lady president Kerry Davidson 40 points to 34.
The unlucky pair of the day were Bert Clarke and Nancy Hill who shot 44 points to win the Captain’s section in the afternoon
session only to lose their match to John and Mary McFadden.

This year's Ladies Long Marker Cup will be held Monday 6 September. The Cup is an individual stableford event, with a handicap limit of 31. The Cup is proudly sponsored by Tuggerah Lakes Early Moaners.
